Being a senior, whether it be in High School or College, is scary. I know it, because I just recently experienced being a senior in High School, so I understand. With that being said, being a senior is AWESOME and to help you celebrate and cherish this special moment in your life, I'M HERE! Whoop Whoop! I want you to feel confident and beautiful during your senior session. I want to take photos of you that represent who you are and what you stand for. In order to do that, I need your help! To ensure that you get everything that you want out of your session there are some things that you should keep in mind!
WHERE are you going to take your photos. Luckily for you I have a list of recommended locations you can find on my prices page. These are places that are FREE and open to the public. If you would like to take photos somewhere that requires an admission fee you must take care of that for the both of us. If you are someone who loves country vibes and want to take pictures at a barn or something similar to this YOU must find this location. Barns, fields, and areas like this are almost always privately owned so you have to find someone who is willing to allow you to be on their property! (Usually people on Facebook are more then willing to help out with this) If you genuinely have no idea where you want to take pictures after looking at my recommended locations feel free to ask questions or ask me what I think. I've been to these locations dozens of times so I know what to expect!
WHAT are you going to wear? I cannot express how important what you wear during your session is. We all have different styles and aesthetics, but it important to wear something that will flatter you. This means it probably isn't the best idea to wear a shirt that shows your bra straps, a skirt that is too short for you to sit down in, or pants that have a stain on them. Dress to impress. Make sure your clothes are ironed and not wrinkled. I do NOT reccomend having more than 3 outfits during your session. From experience, 2 is a comfy number. Typically 30 minutes in one outfit and 30 minutes in the other, pretty simple stuff, right? Keep in mind that some locations that I recommend do not have a bathroom to change in. Unless you are someone who is okay with flashing the world when changing, I recommend bringing a sheet to hold up around you as you get changed.
WHO are you? What do you stand for? Let's show this is in your session. I want to show the world everything you're about with your photos. This can be simple as showing your attitude in your photos or as extravagant as doing a styled shoot with flowers and antiques. I'm up for anything! I am up for a typical session without props, or one with a complete set we made! Never hesitate to ask questions, reach out, or take a risk, that's what life is all about after all, so let's do it together!
